We're looking for an Account Manager to join our team in New York. The position will report into the Head of Client Services for America.
- Be responsible for managing, cultivating, and renewing a portfolio of revenue from WARC’s client accounts, interacting with some of the most respected names within Americas’ advertising, marketing, media and research agencies.
- Be knowledgeable about: WARC content, keeping abreast of content substance so that they can talk with understanding to clients about what is new and interesting
- Understand the clients’ business needs and objectives, to help them identify content of relevance and generate client engagement
- Build strong account relationships by: leading web based presentations demoing the site to new users and by responding in a timely fashion to all inquiries
- Becoming a trusted advisor and respected resource for help with advertising questions, by applying the knowledge from WARC content and demonstrating their ability to help solve difficult advertising questions
- Be a strong team player by working closely with colleagues on a senior strategic accounts team to drive difficult renewals and upsell
- Strong customer service ethic, desire to go the extra mile to surpass client expectations
- Adept at leveraging a client services database (Salesforce) to record and track account histories
- Strong communication skills, both for writing and presenting to senior-level executives
- Good research skills
- Interest in the global marketing and advertising industry
- 2-4 years of relevant work experience with marketing/advertising; Bachelor’s degree
- Strong familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Webinar/Web-based presentation software)
