This role will be selling subscription access to WARC (www.warc.com) and The Work
(www.lovethework.com) to advertising, research and media agencies in EMEA.
You will be reporting to the Head of Agency Sales, EMEA and will create interest in both products, generating sales opportunities from both incoming leads and cold call prospecting.
You will be working throughout the full sales cycle from initial interest to close, focused on a defined group of clients.
The WARC EMEA Commercial Team is made up of 21 people in the following disciplines:
Individuals have their own personal targets, but we are a highly collaborative team, working closely together to ensure the overall EMEA sales target is met.
Key responsibilities are:
1. Working with the Head of Agency Sales, EMEA to follow up on incoming leads – taking their
initial interest and building on this through contact by phone, email, F2F or online meeting (for
overseas prospects) – resulting in a serious sales opportunity and then on to close.
2. To pro‐actively target new prospects for Warc & The Work, initiating first contact and building a relationship to the point that they are highly familiar with what Warc & The Work are and could do for them – resulting in a serious sales opportunity.
3. On creation of a C grade opportunity (our term for a serious sales opportunity) work with the
senior BDM on the most appropriate way of developing this further.
4. Achieve a personal NB target & work with other members of the team to grow specific accounts where suitable.
5. Using our internal systems to record, in a timely manner, accurate details of our relationships
with clients and prospects.
6. To work closely with other members of the WARC & The Work team to create a seamless sales
experience for the prospect.

Proven track record of building relationships in person, online and via phone
Experience of demonstrating a product/service online or in person
Experience of presenting to groups of individuals face to face
Clear, concise communication skills
Careful attention to detail as, with all sales roles, correct input of data into our CRM is critical
Ability to research online prospects and make initial contact
Ability to work on own initiative and manage a varied workload according to formal and natural deadlines
Experience of working with CRM databases (Salesforce) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Powerpoint)
Drive and determination to hit targets
Evidence of working within a team to achieve personal and wider team goalsSecondary
Preferable sales experience in selling to brand owners.
Understanding of the marketing/advertising industry and/or function
Fluency in European foreign language(s)
