Key Purpose

Primarily responsible for compiling the learning content programme for Spikes Asia and Dubai Lynx Festivals of Creativity, as well as assisting on the content programme for Cannes Lions Festival of Creativity.

Key Accountabilities
  • Carry out telephone and face to face research with senior marketers and creatives in some of the world’s most innovative organisations to obtain detailed insight into their interest areas that would translate into creative and commercial opportunities for Cannes Lions Festivals
  • Harness the insights from research to set compelling themes that help to inform the overall festival programme
  • Devise qualitative questionnaires to garner feedback from our audiences on content themes, interest areas and content satisfaction levels
  • Translate the research insights into a detailed, exciting and strategic skeletal agenda (as per above) which captures exactly what our audience wants to see on stage
  • Balance inspirational content with practical learning and experiential magic – to form a well-rounded, compelling agenda
  • Generate a “pull” approach to call for content from the industry and craft content submissions into highly engaging speaking sessions
  • Identify any gaps from our call for content submissions and subsequently pitch, invite and confirm industry execs
  • Work with (often demanding) talent managers, executives, communications directors and talent themselves prior to and on-site at Cannes
  • Write commercially engaging, executive level copy for websites and work with the marketing team to help shape content marketing ideas
  • Watch footage from all content sessions to identify new themes and areas of potential content marketing interest for our audiences
Qualifications & Experience
  • Preferably 2 years minimum experience in international event content production or editorial content
  • International experience preferable – experience producing content for a global audience
  • Knowledge of the advertising and communications industry highly desirable
IT Experience
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint
