About the role

We're looking for a Retail Analyst to join our team in London. As part of our Content team, your key responsibilities will include:
  • Working in a team of analysts, you will be tasked with creating and maintaining in-depth profiles on a wide range of retailers, including key individuals leading those businesses
  • Ensure that the retailer insight is as up to date as possible through quantitative and qualitative research as well as in-depth interviews with key decision makers
  • Converting data into actionable insights & analysis and produce well-written content
  • Produce trend-led articles, looking at the macro trends in the sector and picking out interesting themes and producing agenda-setting content.
  • Assist the sales team with client meetings and there will be opportunities to deliver trend presentations to customers.
  • Drive usage of Prospect data and analysis within the core Retail Week brand.
Your experience
  • The role requires an analytical and creative mindset in equal measure
  • You must also be able to perform in a time sensitive environment and initiate updates when events happen
  • The ideal candidate could be a recent graduate with one or two years of experience within media or market research companies.
