Summary WARC is an online service offering advertising best practice, examples and insights to a client roster that includes the world's largest advertising agencies, media agencies, advertisers, research companies and universities. It is a fast-growing company with clients around the world.
The Senior Editor, Advertiser Content will be focused on conceptualising and delivering a new service relevant for WARC’s growing global client-side audience. This will include developing new content formats as well as curating existing WARC content. The focus will be on reshaping the service for clients in different markets, and distilling the insights and evidence on WARC into digestible formats for a time-pressed, knowledge-hungry audience.
You will join an expanding company with offices in the UK, the US and Singapore. The role is full-time and based in our central London office.

Key responsibilities
• This person will be in charge of a new service for client-side advertisers, reporting to WARC’s Head of Content.
• Responsible for driving the development of a new content stream for WARC, based around category-focused insights and short-form summaries of our content database. This will include generating new ideas for content formats (including PPT/PDF, web content and email), experimenting with prototypes, gaining feedback from WARC teams and WARC clients, and launching them.
• Managing internal and external resource to deliver this stream of content. Lead development of new short-form content delivery formats, such as audio or video files and graphics.
• Curate WARC content, selecting which pieces to push to advertisers through the home page and email.
• Identify opportunities to commission or source new content of relevance to the client audience.
• Attend conferences focused on clients, and represent WARC to a client-side audience. This will include building a network of client-side contacts who can contribute to WARC.
• Liaise closely with WARC’s commercial teams, to ensure advertiser-focused content is developed in line with the company’s commercial priorities.

Essential requirements:
• Excellent business-writing and relationship-building skills, with previous experience in a Senior Editorial and Advertising Content role (minimum 3 years).
• First-hand experience of working within a marketing organisation on the ‘client side’ as well as managing subscriptions.
• Strong experience of developing and curating content in Multimedia formats, including Audio, Video, Info graphics, decks and email imperative.
• Experience of working internationally, to reflect the global nature of WARC’s audience, including the delivery of multi-market editorial projects.
• Experience of managing teams remotely (to including working with contractors in multiple markets)
• Understanding of, interest in and exposure to advertising and marketing sectors.
• A strong network of contacts in the marketing world globally, specifically among advertisers.

The successful candidate will also be expected to show:
• Evidence that they can liaise with colleagues across departments and across offices.
• Effective project management skills, including ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience of presenting at conferences and other industry related gatherings.

Performance measures
• Renewals of advertiser-side WARC subscriptions
• Performance of content in terms of downloads and customer satisfaction.
